Maduro

Country of Origin: Handmade in the Dominican Republic

Wrapper: ECSU/CTBL
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan

Once a favorite among strong-cigar smokers, the El Rico Habano brand's production was ceased by its maker, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Sr., because he could not secure the right tobaccos to continue making the blend. In 2001, Nicaragua™s superb tobacco crop returned and Ernesto Jr. reintroduced these spicy, full-bodied smokes out of his El Credito Factory. These cigars feature a rich Nicaraguan binder finished with either a specially aged Ecuadorian sun-grown leaf or a dark Connecticut broadleaf maduro creating one-of-a-kind flavors from start to finish.
