The spectacular Preferidos 1903 Edition is a series of perfectos which reprises the shapes made by Don Ecuardo Leon Jimenes at the opening of the La Aurora factory in 1903. Introduced in 1998 these are full-bodied cigars in the old perfecto shape that truly brings a little bit of the start of the 20th century to smokers at the dawn of the 21st century. The wrapper and some filler leaves are from Cameroon, with a Dominican binder and Dominican filler. The maduro wrappers are from Brazil. The corojo series was introduced in 2003 and features a Dominican wrapper along with a Dominican binder and filler leaves. The Connecticut line debuted in 2004 and features a seven-year-old Shade Grown wrapper.
