Davidoff No. 1 Egypt «Queen Kawit»

The marquetry picture on this humidor shows a relief engraving of the limestone sarcophagus of Queen Kawit, one of the wives of Pharaoh Mentuhotep II. The sarcophagus, which has been dated to around 2000 BC, was discovered in Deir-al Bahari near Luxor in the burial temple of Mentuhotep II. The marquetry work comprises 596 individual pieces in 15 different types of wood.
